Recent events that happened
triggered my brain cells to try my ‘talent’ (or the lack of) in writing
a parody. Alert: This is an insider’s thingy, haha. For those
who may not appreciate the deep meaning behind, just immerse your eyes
with the chun pictures. ^_^

Hailed from the Land of Three
Sciences, Princess Zi is known to all as a sociable, elegant young
lady. (I have a super chun pic of hers but I cannot upload coz apparently I have uploaded 50 pictures on frenster this month. what a let down.)

Princess Zi has been enjoying her singlehood though she does have her fair share of memories.
Not long before this, she left the Land of Three Sciences and resided in Uniland.

Lately, Princess Zi has gone on
a royal vacation to the island of Phee Nang with her friends, all of
which are sons and daughters of distinguished aristocrats, such as the
son of Sir Chong, Mr. Jounathan, the son of Count Lim, Mr.
Longherrring, the daughter of Duke Koo, Ms. Sara Strawberry.

However,
little did Princess Zi knows that rumours and speculation has been
going around like wild fire. Even the sons and daughters of the
dignitaries think thay Her Royal Highness has feelings for her buddy
friends, friends whom she talks over a cup of coffee in The Royal
Starbucks or high tea in The Ritz Carlton Hotel.

So who can the suspects be?

Prince William

Apparently the paparazzi has
reliable sources from Blogspot.com that Princess Zi and Prince Wil, as
he is fondly known, has been corresponding with each other. In fact,
the trip was planned as their pre-honeymoon; with Ms. Sara Strawberry
acting as a decoy.

‘Her Royal Highness even wrote several posts herself in Prince Wil’s private blog,’ said a spokeperson for The HELP Herald.

‘Why would Her Royal Highness be interested to join us commoners
in our HELP FM trip? It is not meant to be a royal vacation in first place,’ quipped someone from the clique.

Witty, sharp, crappy at times, Prince Wil is caring and honest deep down inside. Could he be the man?

Prince Edward

The History of Princess Zi and
Prince Eddie, as he is fondly called, can be dated back to their high
school time. They were reading Science in the ‘extraordinary’ school of
MCKL but they were mere aquaintances then.

They knew each other better in their pre-uni days.

Apparently,
the spokeperson of Help Herald claimed that Princess Zi had cordially
invited Prince Eddie to the island of Middle Lang, without the
knowledge of Prince Eddie’s clique, the Help FM.

‘Her
Royal Highness invited Prince Eddie over because she has feelings for
him. And later they also joined us to the island of Phee Nang. I am
positive about something ‘more than friends’ here,’ quipped an insider
who thinks he knows the truth.

Gentleman, whacky and sensitive to others’, can Prince Edward be the one?

Until
Press time, there are two more sources, lacking evidence, that Princess
Zi actually had been in a long-term relatinoship with the son of a
well-known, Hong Kong mathematician, Professor Yee. Prof Yee obtained
is phD in Mathematics at the tender age of 20; beating Mr. Sunny Yee of
Yee tuition’s centre flat. Another source will be a commoner who has
not made much public appearance, Mr. Xiang. Mr. Xiang is a
down-to-earth person who aspires to land himself on a job with the F1
team one day.

RUMOURS.
Judgments. Why can’t Princess Zi has her freedom in socializing? Why
will people not believe that it is mere the hard-to-explain-but-it-is-a-buddy-friendship
relationship with the Help gang?

Perhaps in life, we all think too complicated.
Simple answer just won’t do to some people.

‘Unsatisfactory’ some people claim, when they find out that the truth is a far cry from what they think.

Now, why can’t THE ONE be him? *wink*

Sometimes, a soon-to-bud
relationship may just wither due to the strains and attention that
external factors (aka people who should mind their own business).

It
is like neither friends nor couple. So what they need is a personal
solace to know each other better. Give them the much needed privacy
please. No interrogation, no teasings please.

For all that you know, they may just live happily ever after like this. ^_^

Wan’s Words of Wisdom (WWW) : Life is like waiting for a box of ideal chocolates, nice one like Royce takes time.

An onion has many layers of epidermis; if you have ever peeled an onion (UNLESS you are living in some other century or you did not do your science practicals in secondary schools days =P), you will know that the outer layer is the one protecting the inner layer from being dried up.
Usually, when I peel an onion, I will get rid of the outer epidermis if it has dried up due to exposure to air after its dried skin had come off.

So like an onion, I have many layers as well. Not many people can to come into the core of an onion. It takes time, and it takes click as well-just like the ‘lock and key’ hypothesis of the enzyme-subtrate complex.

Just because I blog about how unhappy I am during that spur of moment, it doesn’t mean that I will be unhappy for long.

Just because I reminiscence about my past, it doesn’t mean that I have not moved on.

Just because I write about who-you-think-I-am-writing-about, it doesn’t mean that it is that person as I have many friends in my life. Refer to ‘disclaimer’.

Just because we have talked over it and moved on, it doesn’t mean that you can be NOT ‘dai fong’ and just DISAPPROVE the friendly testimonial I gave you. You really don’t have to build a Berlin Wall. ^_^

Just because I have moved on, it doesn’t mean that I have totally forgotten how you used to come straight into the core of the onion and share things with me. I miss having someone I can confide in.

Just because I am a sentimental person, it doesn’t mean that you can toy with my feelings and drag me to infinity.

Just because I don’t laugh at your cold jokes, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have a sense of humour.

Teng Foong; knew him since I was 5?? haha. He stayed right at the back of our family back then and my mum knew his mum first.
I really have no recollection of playing with teng foong as a kid but I do remember looking up to his elder sister, Yee Ling. She used to guide me in playing duplo and lego; and my mum always asked me to emulate her in playing piano. haha ^_^

As a kid, teng foong already showed his flair in dancing (according to my mum who watched his concert). Anyway, we shifted when  I was 6, thus our jodoh was momentarily brought to a standstill there. We entered mckl but we were rather apart that time; until he became my best friend’s pet bro in form 4; and then more mutual gatherings….

Teng foong is someone who is concerned, takes good care of his pet sis, great dancer, sporting, outgoing, leng chai and fun to be with. All the best in USA, I still think JASON suits you MORe than Austin lo *wink*
Or you can *Ahem* think about Steven, Gerrald, Hayden or William. These have to do with the footballer, the moto gp rider, the prince charming my favourite names. ^_^

WWW: Life is like going to SS2, you feel insecured yet you still love to go there.

Ever wonder what future pharmacists do in lab?

Here is what we do for Natural Products of Medicine:

Camwhoring in the lab while boiling the residue in the isolation of caffeine from tea leaves.

My great lab partner, Steph and I doing suction filtration. I need to wear the gloves as the beaker is boiling hot.

Our cute lecturer, Dr. Arjun in action with the rotatory evaporator (RM6000++!!) ‘It is nothing but…..’ (laughing out loud)

Here is what we do during Dispensing practicals:

All the things you need for extemporaneous (on the spot) dispensing- conical measure, spatula, weighing boat, measuring cylinder, labels, ‘recipe’ to name a few.

Future pharmacists making a Simple Linctus BP(cough syrup)- that explains the maroon colour rendered by Amaranth dye. BP means British Pharmacopoiea, i.e. the ingredients and preparation methods that we employ adhere to the BP.

So much for doing experiment. It is extremely exhausting. I love dispensing and microbiology practicals but NOT Natural Products for Medicine. Cest La Vie.

Now, after such an extensive Tour de Pharmacy lab, I hope you all are enlightened as to what rigourours training future pharmacists have to undergo in order to be a licensed pharmacists.

Not ANYONE can just go behind the counter and ‘count tablet’ and ‘make syrup’, mind you. ^_^

When you feel sad or frustrated because you feel that God has treated you unfairly, THINK again- count your blessings.

Education is such an important key to a better future though it is not A GUARANTEED PASSPORT. In my parents’ time, it is so hard to even fund a child up to university level due to circumstances, not only financial but priority perceived by grandparents in the olden days.
WE are so lucky indeed to have parents who sacrifice for us unconditionally just so that we have the chance to study and get a degree.

We all have A CHOICE; so choose your love and love your choice.

Tired of studying? These kids would LOVE to be in your position.

I know of a friend who was upset with his (or from what he implied, his parents) choice, so he got really down. He is so blessed to be given a second chance now, with the support of his parents and encouragement from friends. Yet, things that he has been telling me is so devastating and disappointing….

These kids are struggling to LIVE, and here you are, going on and on a vicious cycle on how meaningless life is. I acknowledge that depression is there to plagued each and everyone of us, and that we can REST for some time when we are so jaded with the journey of life.
Like the Chinese sayings, 休息,就是为了走更长的路. However, we all believe that you have had your rest, it is time to M-O-V-E on now.

I dare you to look into this kid’s eyes and tell him, ‘Life is NOT worth living. I do not see the point of living.’

WE all have our priorities and goals in life, we are also busy and we do not have time to bring time to a standstill to where you CHOOSE to stop at. We are sad as we have failed to bring back the rays of sunshine back to your life. I told you that , ‘Friendship is also like relationship, it takes two to tango. You know he is leaving for HK soon, why don’t for a change, you organise something FOR HIM before he leaves?’

You just had to burst my bubble by saying, ‘He ah, I am NOT that close with him also.’ Sad indeed. He could call you all the way from overseas, and talked among us about how you are doing and how to help you. YOU CALL THAT NOT TRUE FRIENDS?

Ask your heart, ask your instinct-who are your true friends? Who walked in when the rest of the world walk out? Are friends who talked crap in class with you, play dota and magic with you and then after that-CIAO-true friends, in your definition?

Or friends who accept you and do not judge you no matter what. Friends who asked you to go dota after yumcha at murni and encouraged you to play magic tournament, then talked to you and tried to paint the smiles on your face– These, to me, are true friends.

Edward told me something that I would like to share with everyone, ‘Our brains are already so small and we have so many things to take care of. If we were to think of what other people think of us, won’t we be SO BUSY?’

So, fret not, my friend. Let them judge you;

 

I believe that only true friends will accept you and like you for who you are. For fake friends and those come-and-go people in our lives, we are better off without them.

Quoting Mother Theresa, ‘If you judge a person, you have no time to love him/her’.

This is all I have to say; I am tired too-I have done all I can. I wish to be with people who bring the rays of sunshine to my life, not vice versa.

I can’t believe I am doing this. This is the most pointless and blatantly stupid thing I’ve ever done in my entire blogging history but I decided to do it since at least 190 people can view my blog now.

So apparently, I needed a disclaimer:

I really don’t know why some random people like to simply add other people as friends. lol. and sometimes the worse thing is, they do not even message you after adding you. You are just there ‘for show’ in his frenster profile. The only reason I can think of is that he want to flaunt how many ‘friends’ and ‘chun girls’ he has in his profile-which to him, is proportional to his popularity. How sad indeed.

For those fake promises of yumcha and all, if you really care about us as your sincere true friends, you will DO it. NOT keep harping on it and never fulfil it. Actions speak louder than words. ^_^

Of course not all is bad. There are sincere, true friends who give you testimonials that speak SUBSTANCE of you. You can tell by just reading it. It is not those stereotypical ,standard ones like:

She is pretty, smart, nice, friendly, sociable and helpful.

He is a gentleman, intelligent, handsome, chun in singing and studies.

The ones with substance will be:
She is someone who never fail to impress me with her intelligence and modesty. I can still remember how she helped me…. (events that showed you two really KNOW each other and been through that much).

The first impression I had on him is that he is reliable and speaks with this tone of assertiveness. Thanks for listening me out…..(whatever that he lent his ears to)…. I can never thank you for helping me in…..(another example that shows that you two REALLY KNOW each other) 

Having said all these, I still wish to say that it is friendster that connects me with my friends who are scattered all over; it gives us all a chance to update everyone without resolving to mass mail (which makes me feel that it is so insincere). It gives us all a solace to channel how much we miss our dear true friends.

I am indeed sorry that this friendster has to send emails to you everytime I update this blog. Is there any way I can ‘click away’ this function?
I have decided that this shall be an open blog for me to speak my mind out, since a writer without readers ain’t fun. ^_^

People come into your life. People walk our of your life. Our lives cross paths with each other. Inevitably, there will be things that happened, things that sometimes we would rather keep to ourselves, yet, by chance, it travels far…..

somehow it is NEVER the original version of things if it is NOT from the FIRST person. Trust me.
Do NOT judge others if you have not ‘been there, done that’. You do not even know who the victim is and who the culprit is. Actually, sometimes, in those situations, there is NO right or wrong; because some people just have to take the consequences of what he/she has done.

Give them some space to breathe, give them a solace. ^_^
