Pharmacy Team Rocks!!
Yes, I know you all have not heard from me. That is because I closed this blog due to ’sam-tamness’. However, I am an optimist who doesn’t want to end her blog with a sad post. Recent events like the IMU Cup is something for us to rejoice and blog about!!
In addition, I am deeply touched by the fact that despite me declaring the closing of the blog, yen ru told me that she printed out my posts to show her boyfriends and houmates. *tissue papers please?* Willy, who read my blog after it became inactive, told me that it is entertaining. ^_^ I wish to thank you all for the support and words of encouragement to carry on blogging despite some wagging tongues by people with no taste. (if you happen to be those people, kindly eject yourself out. hehe. thanks)
Let’s start with what I deem to be worthy of praise:
1. Pharmacy guys are the champion in basketball and most of them are from our batch!! Hooray!
2. Pharmacy cheerleading team is the CHAMPION!!! Well done ka keat, V Co, and the rest!
3. Pharmacy sent the most teams for debate (3) despite knowing that winning is futile. Pharmacy never sent any team previously. During the debates, in my room at least, they were all pharmacy supporters (though it was a mere small PBL room) and one of them is *ahem* cute!
It is after IMU debate that I Found I have the interest in debate, because I love to keep myself updated with current issues and learn now to reason. I like to make a point across too, hopefully with some training I can do that with style =)
4. Pharmacy futsal girls got 2nd! What is worthy of mention is Staphylococcus aureus (stephanie) *wink* gave a tough fight though her knee was bandaged (injured herself the day before due to formation of stickyball-shoes complex).
5. Pharmacy is the overall champion for Tracks & Fields. How can they not be when stephanie, despite her injury and exhaution from futsal, took a Ponstan (painkiller) and ran 4 x 100 and ..(I cannot remember). She got 2nd for high jump, missing by 0.08 right??? IF she had not taken extra caution in order not to land on her knee (which was already leaking with pus), she would have gotten first=)
Suffice to say, it is the participation that counts!! It is the spirit, the unity of pharmacy students from all intake that make us so proud of ourselves! Yes we didn’g get the cup but 2nd place, but I would liken ourselves to be Germany in the world CUp. Though Italy won the cup, Germany has been talked about a lot!! ^_^
Uni life is more than that. We all take participation as something to enrich ourselves, unlike some antisocial people who either lock him/herself in room or camp in library, or play poker, hang out in mamak and not mixing around with people. ‘I do not care what other people do’. Yes so likewise, people do NOT care about what you do too.
By the way, my friends have told me that they enjoyed my post on relationship and love. So here are some thoughts.
Q: Why does a guy ask a girl out, sweet-talk , send gifts but NEVER pop the question?
A: Because he is a flirt. He is two-timing so that he has NO COMMITMENT.
Conclusion:
Whatever it is, be it
‘I lost the feelings for you’ or
‘I am just seeing people ONLY what’ or
‘Can’t a buddy friend do that?’
The guy is still at the wrong for being irresponsible. Period.
To end this post with a happy tone,
Pharmacy, go get the IMU Cup next year!!! ^_^
