Facebook

Does getting into a hectic course suck up all the creativity from you? Gosh, I hope not!! Lately, I haven’t been blogging much as I used to; it is a good sign since it means I am not spending unneccesary amount of time on something that will be placed in archive. However, it also means that I have not been putting my thoughts down, that is, if I had the time to think, to start with.

Blogging is my way of expressing myself and speaking out my mind. It also serves to connect my dear friends out there who are scattered all over the world. However, how open can one be in a blog without being judged by other people? How far can you write about your feelings without the so-called friends in your friendster prying into your private life when they have no interaction with you in person?

I am quite sick of unknown people adding my on friendster and not making any effort to intro. Let me rephrase that, I am sick of unknown people who have no mutual friends with me, adding me on friendster and bombarding me with Qs like ‘are you local?’ ,’ where are you studying?’ and etc.

People who keep adding ‘friends’ to their list just to show their popularity are so fake. I hate that but since friendster has evolved to this extent, I just leave the rubbish be.

I have signed in to facebook and I hereby urge my MC friends, HELP friends and IMU friends who are actually MY FRIENDS to join facebook and add me there too!! I am not really familiar with the functions in facebook but the fact that you can add unlimited no. of photos beat frienster FLAT! Then you get to see how you are linked up with another person etc…

I would love to keep facebook as my personal, private network with friends so I hope it won’t evolve to be a rubbishful of ‘friend list’ like friendster!
